For Non fly in shows The Tzars do provide their own Backline, And if required high spec Sound and Lights when agreed which will cater for up to 400 persons. Larger events require larger light and sound reinforcement. We typically liaise with AV companies or installed systems manager when this is the case.
Minimum stage size: 24 feet wide x 12 feet deep (plus drum riser: 7 feet wide x 7 feet deep x 1 foot high).
Minimum stage size WITHOUT drum riser: 16ft wide x 12ft deep
Minimum stage height clearance of 8.5ft.
Minimum of 4 13amp power sockets to be provided on the stage.

The Tzars are a very visual group of entertainers and can only perform to the best of their ability if they have an adequately sized stage. They do not stand still.
Parking for Mercedes Sprinter Van is required for duration the band is on site. The band provide a lot of heavy backline and production equipment so sensible load in access should be available at the agreed load in and load out times. If there are stairs or long walks for venue access please arrange crew to assist load in and load out and inform band management in advance.
The Tzars provide as standard provide IEM’s, backline, instrument amplification and microphones mixed with onstage x32 RACK. Stereo tails will be provided for installed systems unless otherwise agreed. The band provide touring FOH engineer who will mix from remote controller.
Microphones and DI’s are needed for the following:
4 PIECE DRUM KIT – Kick Drum, Snare Drum, 1 Rack Tom, 1 Floor tom and 2 overhead condenser microphones
BASS GUITAR – DI Out Bass Amp
LEAD GUITAR – 2 XLR Stereo output Kemper Amp
ACOUSTIC GUITAR – DI
KEYBOARD – 2 Mono DI’S next to the keyboard amp
VOCALS 4 – Preferably Wireless Radio Microphones
SAMPLER (At Drums) – 2 x Mono DI
All of the microphones on the front line of the stage will need to be loud in the mix as each member of the band on the front line will sing lead vocals at some point in the set.
Due to the energetic nature of the band, they rely on the bass drum being loud in the mix out front as well as in the monitors.
The Sampler play back must be clear in the front of house mix during and in-between songs.
The Sampler should not be muted at any point during the bands performance. (Sound effects via the bands playback will be running for the bands intro, during songs, in-between songs and as they leave the stage).

The Tzars provide onstage lighting controlled by DMXIS triggered by Ableton Live and is synced to the bands performance and can cater for venues up to 1000 persons. For venues larger a lighting engineer and adequate lighting system should be made available to deliver pop rock concert style lighting. A cue sheet will be provided to lighting engineer. DMX channel control can be offered from our system for show integration into house lights if required. Please contact us for DMX spec.
The Tzars offer screen output synced to the bands performance for shows where screens are provided. If screens are installed please provide HDMI to the rear stage to connect video output to installed screens.
A pot of tea and a pot of coffee with biscuits, a selection of fresh fruit, and sandwiches (ham, cheese & onion and tuna and sweet corn) for 6 people to be served on arrival at the venue. A warm lockable adequately sized dressing room to be available for duration of band time onsite.
A hot meal to be available for 6 people at least 2 hours prior to the bands performance. It is not acceptable to eat at the same time as other guests if the band are expected to perform within 2 hours of the meal being served and an alternative must be agreed with the band on arrival at the venue.
Remember we want to give you the best performance possible and performing on a full stomach is not going to enable the band to give its best.
